The last day of June left seven COVID-19 infections in Cuba, all asymptomatic.

June is over and the Cuban health authorities reported that seven people were detected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus in the last 24 hours, in addition to an increase in hospitalized patients, whose figure amounts to 146, according to today’s report.

The seven cases were asymptomatic, all are Cuban, six had contact with already confirmed cases and one individual contracted the disease abroad.

This is a 47-year-old man, resident in the Puerto Padre municipality, Las Tunas province, who came from the United States. Three related contacts are kept under surveillance.

Women predominated over men in the seven confirmed cases (4-3), and by age groups they are as follows: under 20 years, five; between 40 and 50 years, two.
